Roman Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on April 7 on the second night of WrestleMania 40 to Cody Rhodes. This moment is historic, as it marked the end of a reign that began in the summer of 2020. Reigns was already working with a reduced schedule and now that he is not a champion, the question among fans was whether Roman was going to be out for a long time after the loss. The Tribal Chief has always had some of the best in-ring gear in the WWE. Whether it be the Shield vest, the Big Dog gear, or the dominating presence with the necklace of the Tribal Chief, Reigns has always looked like a menace. And that’s why people had a hard time digesting his recent photograph. In a post shared on X, fans can witness Roman Reigns wearing a Baby Yoda T-shirt. This surely is in stark contrast to his gimmick persona where he is all serious all the time. Let’s not forget that the story of The Bloodline took a 180-degree turn recently on SmackDown. The faction kicked off their own “new era” on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where only Sikoa could have staged a coup d’état by assuming the position of “Tribal Chief.” This turn of events generated a great deal of interest in the public, raising many questions that will be answered over the next few weeks. The most important one is, without a doubt, what role Reigns will play in this matter and when will he return.

As reported by WrestleVotes on its X account, Roman Reigns is going to be absent from television for an indefinite time, that is, there is no specific date for his return. However, he will continue to maintain the creative influence it had in the previous years on The Bloodline-related story. “I’m told that although Roman Reigns will be off TV for an indefinite period of time, he will still have substantial creative input in the evolving Bloodline storyline over the course of the next few months.”

At the moment, it is unknown if Reigns will appear in any form in the programming of the blue brand. What does seem evident is that his name will be recurring in promos and segments related to the group in the coming months. Will the Tribal Chief return before Summerslam? Let us know in the comments.
