Fans slamming Ricochet's WWE stint—Are they being too harsh or spot on?

This afternoon, AEW All In London was held at Wembley Stadium in London, England. One of the most anticipated matches of the show was surely the Casino Gauntlet Match. One of the best surprises of the show surely lived up to the hype as we got to see Zack Sabre Jr. and Nigel McGuinness return to take part in the match.

However, the most anticipated surprise of the fight came with the appearance of Ricochet. The former WWE wrestler appeared in the latter half of the intense match, just as Hagman Page was attacking Karen Jarrett after throwing Jeff Jarrett on top of all the other opponents at ringside. Superhero Ricochet came to the rescue as he actively participated in the final moments of the fight. However, he was unable to prevent Christian Cage from winning the fight after an assist from Luchasaurus.

His appearance was very well received by a major section of the fans, as his AEW debut earned a massive crowd-pop from the British crowd. However, his fellow wrestlers spared no time to let the high flyer know that he still is an outsider, even though he has made his way to the Jacksonville-based promotion. One of them was AEW superstar Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher took no time to remind Ricochet that he is yet to be a part of the AEW family. While the Aussie is a part of the Don Callis family within the promotion. So, wasting no time, he and Callis issued a challenge for the former Prince Puma.

A war of words where Fletcher reminded Ricochet of the WWE Speed Championship soon followed. A title that Ricochet won that was as prestigious as the 24/7 title. For those unaware, both titles had almost no relevance to the promotion. Although Ricochet tried to defend himself by saying, “why is being a CHAMPION a bad thing??” He couldn’t help but handle the hate being spread by fans in the comments as he defended himself by replying to their tweets by writing stuff like, “Says the guy who will literally never be champion of anything hahaha.”

Since then, there has been speculation about his hiring by All Elite Wrestling. Now that we know that Prince Puma is here, when can we expect him to make his one-on-one debut?
