A person losing their job is never good news. It could have a terrible toll on the person’s mental health, no matter their profession. WWE Superstars cannot always predict their release from the company, and Andrade had to go through something of the sort.

Andrade is a free agent
‘La Sombra’ is currently an independent agent after WWE released him on March 21, 2021. It is reported that Andrade did not have a 90-day non-compete clause assigned to his release.
After his release, Andrade teased an arrival on the April 7 episode of AEW Dynamite in Jacksonville, via social media. But the show came and went without Andrade ever showing up.
The former WWE NXT and WWE United States Champion was last seen on RAW during the 2020 WWE Draft back in October. Andrade then reportedly took some time off to go through a trivial operation after the Draft.
WWE did not officially draft him to Raw or SmackDown, and Andrade was expected to be out of action for around a month. Unfortunately, he would never show up.
Fightful Wrestling has reported that Andrade has already set up a few matches after his discharge from WWE. He will face Alberto Del Rio on July 31.
At AAA Rey de Reyes, Andrade challenged AEW World Champion, IMPACT World Champion, and AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega to a match at AAA TripleMania. AEW has not made the fight official.
Potential to go anywhere
Andrade is a top talent and has the potential and credibility to join any wrestling promotion and shine. He is one of the top in-ring talents in the world, and there’s no questioning that anybody that sees him will know he has the charisma that can transcend language.
He is very, very good, and there are a lot of options for him.

Andrade has a lot of friends in ‘Ring Of Honor’. Apparently, he has advised some of those people in Ring Of Honor to not come to WWE because he didn’t like the way that things were going there.
