Becky Lynch has propelled herself as one of WWE’s biggest stars in recent years. As a result, Lynch’s decision not to renew her contract with the Stamford-based promotion sent shockwaves amongst the wrestling community. Her match against Liv Morgan last Monday on RAW was the last on her current contract. And the day has come when she is officially no longer part of the roster. Becky Lynch officially becomes a free agent for the first time in 11 years.
With this free transfer, everyone is wanting to see what’s next for the former WWE superstar. While some predict a break from wrestling, many believe that ‘The Man’ might join the ranks in All Elite Wrestling. In fact, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T shared his thoughts on The Man joining WWE’s rival promotion.
Becky Lynch now becomes the most important free agent in wrestling. While early indications are that she could sign a new contract with WWE in a while, anything can happen. Considering that Lynch hasn’t been in such a situation since 2013. Even though her husband Seth Rollins had signed a new deal, the case of The Man turned out very differently by extending the mystery until the days close to the deadline.

By fulfilling the entire duration and reaching the end of her contract date, Becky Lynch won’t have to adhere to a non-compete clause. Thus, she could sign a new contract immediately.
This has sparked rumors that the former WWE Women’s champion did the following to join the Tony Khan-led promotion. And according to WWE legend Booker-T, Khan would try his best to hire Lynch.
Lynch to be poached by Tony Khan?
On the Reality of Wrestling podcast, Booker said, “I even read, you know, one of the guys said Tony Khan should hire. You know what? And the thing is, you know, he probably will. You know what I mean? If she becomes available and do it as quick as you possibly can.”

During his recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of Becky Lynch leaving WWE to join AEW. Khan avoided commenting on the matter. He said he’s a fair businessman. And doesn’t think it’s necessary to talk about a person who works for another company. But now that she is no longer a part of the WWE, it wouldn’t be surprising if the AEW faithful rushed to get the hottest free agent in the pro wrestling market.

And that, in case ‘The Man’ joins the company, she will be prepared to face it. So it surely looks like everything has fallen in place for Lynch to jump ship. But will she take the leap?
