The wrestling world exploded two weeks ago when Sting made his AEW debut on Dynamite. The ‘Icon’ set the wrestling world buzzing after saving Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin from Team Taz. That’s not the only interesting thing he’s done this year, as he’s also starred in a music video!
Sting appears in music video
‘The Franchise’ recently appeared in American Band Islander’s ‘Crazy Crazy World’ music video. This is the first time ‘The Crow’ version of Sting has appeared in a music video. He previously appeared in American Thrash Metal Band Laaz Rockit’s ‘Fire in the Hole‘ music video in 1989 during his Surfer Sting days.

In ‘Crazy Crazy World,’ Sting starts off the day snoozing his alarm (his action figure is in the background); he wakes up and puts on his wrestling boots. ‘The Icon’ is in his full crow persona with the face paint, Sting T-shirt, and wrestling tights.
Throughout the video, we see Sting doing several everyday activities such as brushing his teeth, making coffee, and walking down to the supermarket.
It’s great to see the wrestling legend pursue other interests outside of the wrestling fold now that he is no more under the WWE fold.
What more is in store?
Sting’s return sent shock waves across the entire wrestling community. The 61-year-old can’t wrestle the same way he did in his prime, but he’s still got a lot to give back to the fans and that’s what has brought him to AEW.

It’s a sure thing Sting would not be ‘The Franchise’ of AEW, but he surely can help establish one for them. That brief moment between him and Darby Allin a couple weeks ago was truly iconic. This week too, ‘The Icon’ pointed at Darby after he said something makes him feel at home and really familiar to him.

At this age and given his physical condition, Sting cannot take a lot of bumps, but he can surely be a guiding light for Darby Allin. What a huge thing it would be for Allin. He’s already won the TNT Championship. If Sting adds his expertise and guidance, we can only guess where it would take his career.
