WWE made headlines when they signed Jade Cargill, who left Tony Khan’s promotion upon the end of her contract. She decided to move on to bigger and better things as she aimed to propel her career. Nevertheless, she made sure to remember her origins as she praised the AEW locker room for their support.

Finally, the WWE faithful’s prayers were answered as Cargill appeared at number 28 of the 2024 Royal Rumble match. From her entrance, you could already see the charisma and aura that she gives off. Combined with her star power, WWE seems like the perfect destination to realize her dreams. Despite etching a new beginning in her career, she lavished praises on the AEW locker room in a recent interview.

 Jade Cargill is thankful for the AEW experience

During an interview with Denise Salcedo, the host asked Cargill how the experience she garnered from AEW helped prepare her for WWE. And despite ditching the Tony Khan promotion, Jade Cargill was all praise for the promotion. She thanked the AEW locker room for giving her the best start in her career. She said, “I felt like I would’ve never got a better start other than AEW, and that’s me being very honest. I think the veterans in the locker room prepared me for the grander stage at WWE. I got a great experience there; being thrown in the water and being able to swim and survive has prepared me for the big stage that WWE has. And the locker room and the phenomenal staff that the WWE has—I mean, they have a front office like no other; I’m just excited to be here.”

Her participation in the Royal Rumble has garnered rave reviews from the wrestling faithful. She showcased her physical prowess and teased potential rivalries with Nia Jax and Bianca Belair to make it a fruitful affair.

In her time in the ring, she showed everything she could offer against Bianca Belair. She eliminated Nia Jax in a show of strength and also displayed her intuitiveness by stunningly eliminating Becky Lynch.

Unfortunately, she could not win the battle royale as the returning Liv Morgan later eliminated her. However, this Rumble appearance was enough for her to prove her might and build ongoing storylines for fans to witness in the coming weeks.
