The Internet Wrestling Community has been trying to predict the route Ricochet will take following the recent news about his WWE contract expiring. As a free agent, the wrestler has many options to explore. The former WWE Speed Champion may be weighing the offers before making a decision, but fans are increasingly considering the possibility of him signing with AEW.
When talking about Tony Khan’s offers, it is believed that Richochet will be offered much more than what other promotions are willing to pay. However, if Ricochet leaves WWE to join AEW, the reason may also be non-monetary.

The discussion about Ricochet’s future in the industry reached the Busted Open podcast where Mark Henry shed light on it. The WWE legend shared his thoughts on the possibility of Ricochet leaving WWE to work elsewhere.
Mark Henry said, “He can go out on his own faith in himself. A lot of people are afraid to do that. He’s not an a**hole or a bad person. So, [for] somebody like him, the door will be open because you can always use a Ricochet.”
Richochet is 35 right now and Mark Henry reckons when a wrestler is in his prime, he has to decide if his talent is being utilized the best. Nobody wants to be trivialized at the peak of his career. If a wrestler is being trivialized at his peak, then it’s logical for him to switch over.

While the “World’s Strongest Man” has his point of view on a possible Richochet switch, nobody knows what’s going through Richochet’s mind. If the 35-year-old decides to focus on the money aspect, WWE may be in trouble.
There seems to be only one way for WWE to keep Ricochet
On a recent podcast by Fightful, Sean Ross Sapp talked about the possibility of Ricochet leaving his current workplace. Sapp reported that the chances of Ricochet leaving WWE is 90-95% because one can never consider something 100% confirmed until it is already done.

However, SRS also suggested that WWE may succeed in convincing the wrestler to stay if a favorable deal is struck between the two parties. While Sapp didn’t elaborate on it further, it can be assumed that the deal that will favor the wrestler may involve more money, among other perks.
