Long-grown rumors about the Japanese star, Kazuchika Okada, joining somewhere else other than NPJW have finally been put to rest. The 36-year-old penned a lucrative deal with Tony Khan and turned All Elite in a flurry. But there’s more to be stupefied if we look at the monetary details of his recently revealed AEW contract.

The amount that the Rainmaker was offered to draw from Tony Khan’s money mound was excessively mammoth. Fans cross-questioned it to fathom the very reason for this lavish signing and palpably failed.

On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the new debutant showed up at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgi alongside The Young Bucks and turned on Eddie Kingston. The former NJPW IWGP Champion, Kazuchika Okada, had a promising time in NPJW for almost two decades. However, lately, his intent to jump ship took over the entire wrestling realm. It was previously speculated that The Rainmaker could grace the developmental brand of WWE as the company showed a certain amount of interest in him. But then AEW loomed large and Khan pulled him in with an extraordinary paycheck. According to Tokyo Sports, the deal will stretch for 3 years for about two billion yen ($13.5 million United States dollars). That again implies Okada will draw around $4.5 million U.S. dollars a year.

The copious figures failed to convince fans, and they reverted to the anti-Tony Khan sentiment for the lavish move.

Wrestling fans showcase displeasure over the fat paycheck of Okada

Tony Khan is well-documented as a desperate talent catcher. He often goes out of his way to lure talents into his yard. He repeated that itch yet again by bringing Okada, a potential WWE signee, into his juggernaut with a lump sum amount of money. And fans believe he’s not worth the hefty figure.

This user sees the Japanese star merely as a mid-card act. Moreover, this fan believed that Khan did it just for the sake of his hobby of stockpiling talents.

One of them made a hilarious comparison with star soccer stars moving onto Saudi clubs for more money nowadays.

These users bashed the wrestler for being a compulsive moneymaker.
