Sasha Banks is currently one of the hottest names in female pro wrestling. After spending ten years in the WWE, from 2012 to 2022, she departed from the company. However, her life took a turn for the better as she gained even more fame working in NJPW. With a rumored debut on AEW, as Mercedes Mone coming up, she opens up about life outside the WWE. Sasha Banks claims you should never ply your trade at only one company
While on the Evan Mark podcast, Banks discussed leaving the WWE and finding success elsewhere. This raised the question about wrestlers often sticking to one company and never exploring other promotions. Banks joined the list of wrestlers, such as CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, who found immense success by joining other promotions. To this, she said, “They should never think that there’s one place. I knew that from the beginning because there’s wrestling everywhere.” She went on to explain that there were several good wrestling promotions that up-and-coming wrestlers can check out.

Furthermore, she said, “You should open your eyes to so many things because your favorite wrestlers come from all different companies.” Banks went on to explain how some of the top and most respected wrestlers worked for many companies.
She said that wrestlers travel the world to hone their craft and gain the experience to find longevity in the business. Moreover, Banks said, “They need that experience, that growth so they can be the best.”

In a previous segment, she talked about working in NJPW and meeting the icons she respected. She explained how she wanted to be a part of the promotion, which was largely male-dominated. Banks claimed that this was a proving ground for her to stand with some of the biggest names. The former WWE star also imparted a pearl of wisdom to wrestling fans as she told them to have fun with pro wrestling rather than being too emotional over itl.
Banks advises fans not to take wrestling too seriously
On the topic of different promotions, Mack asked her about the toxicity among fans. He used the example of the hate fans have towards other promotions. Banks explained, “Just love it. Have fun. It’s just television.” This was for the fans who disliked other promotions.

A great example of this can be seen between fans of the WWE and AEW. Each fanbase claims that their promotion is the best, and the other one is secondary.
