Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are the top two guys in the WWE currently. On one hand, Reigns has maintained his position at the top by working on a part-time schedule, and Rollins continues to be the active champion fans want to see. These two stars are at the top of the WWE and the pro wrestling business in general. However, a former friend of Cody Rhodes has some other thoughts about Reigns and Rollins.

He recently stated in an interview that he is superior to everyone and not even Rollins and Reigns are at his level.

AEW superstar considers himself better than Reigns and Rollins

Current AEW World Champion, MJF is well known for his self-obsessed heel character. He continues to be in his in-ring persona even when he is not competing. Known mostly for maintaining his kayfabe all the time, MJF issued a statement targeting Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.   

In a video uploaded on the New York Mets channel on 21st September, MJF talked about his baseball love and wrestling journey. During a moment, he expressed his opinion over the rankings issued by Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) of the top 10 wrestlers in the world currently. He said, “Um I believe that they put those three guys up there. Those three guys are very talented but nobody’s on my level, everybody knows that.”

MJF was referring to the top three pro wrestlers ranked by PWI. They have ranked Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Jon Moxley as the top three respectively, all former members of The Shield. MJF was ranked sixth in the list and was the 2nd top-ranked wrestler from the AEW promotion.

Playing perfectly to his heelish gimmick, he also called himself the best in the world. He said, “If you went on social media the day it got dropped, everybody was saying that either me or Cody Rhodes, an old running mate of mine should have been one or two.” MJF feels that only Cody Rhodes is close to his top spot at second.

In fact, Cody Rhodes has been ranked 10th while MJF’s fellow AEW mate, Orange Cassidy has been ranked 8th. But it’s Rollins who has bagged the biggest prize as he has managed to dethrone Reigns as the top guy in the wrestling industry.

Despite his overwhelming presence in the WWE as the top guy and over 1100-day reign as Universal Champion, Roman Reigns was ranked second. Rollins’ title run, his growing love from fans over his bizarre outfits, his entrance music chant, and of course his in-ring ability have earned him the top spot this year.
