All Elite Wrestling hasn’t had a great year in terms of numbers, both in terms of viewership and ticket sales for weekly shows. However, the exception has been pay-per-view events, as AEW Revolution 2024 is shaping up to be a highly anticipated spectacle that will conclude Sting’s legendary in-ring career.
Continuing on this trend of successful events will be repeated next month as AEW Dynamite: Big Bu$iness will take place on March 13 at TD Garden, Boston, MA. The event is rumored to feature the AEW debuts of Mercedes Mone, FKA Sasha Banks, and Kazuchika Okada. And it has surely boosted ticket sales, as revealed in a recent tweet.

If we have to compare it with other PPVs as well, Full Gear sold about 4,100 pre-sale tickets, and it ended up with over 12,000 distributed. Revolution sold 4,500 pre-sale tickets and distributed over 8,900. This amazing boost can surely be credited to the buzz surrounding Mercedes Mone. And we’re not the only ones who think so.
Fans rejoice about the signing of Mone
Fans too believe that the high numbers are thanks to the former Sasha Banks finally making her return to a big promotion like AEW. Without wasting a second, they were quick to let their thoughts and theories be known. Here are some of the reactions:
A fan believes that AEW can surely do 10k ticket sales now.
4.5K have bought tickets already for a presale. That’s solid. Especially with nothing announced but Mercedes teased. Keep it up with the good ticket prices and market in the Boston area and they’ll get at least 10K by the show

Another fan believed that Sasha Banks single-handedly turned the fate of AEW ticket sales around.
Well SASHA is a needle mover! 😎🤜 Great for her! 🔥

As per reports, Mercedes Mone has been under contract with All Elite Wrestling since at least the beginning of January. There were plans to announce her debut by directly mentioning her name, but it was finally decided to announce a special show hinting at her arrival at the company without needing to name her, something similar to what happened with CM Punk in 2021. And now it seems like it is paying off.
