At United Center in 2021, CM Punk made his huge wrestling return at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. He got a huge pop from the Chicago crowd present in the arena. During his promo, he promised to distribute free ice creams to every viewer there because of their precious reaction. While talking to Dave LaGreca of the Busted Open Podcast, Punk revealed, “You know, it’s a thank you from me to the fans for waiting. More surprises in store if you plan to attend on any shows in Chicago in the near future. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. I want my fans to enjoy being around.”
He said all this after confessing how much he loved coming back to the fans after a long in-ring hiatus. The patience everyone showed for him to enter the squared circle and the huge pop they granted to him at SummerSlam 2024 moved him. This is why CM Punk wants everyone to look out for another surprise the next time there is a WWE show in Chicago.

As of now, the wrestling faithful would have to convey their support to him at the upcoming PLE match at Bash in Berlin to get a chance to attain the coveted ice cream bar. Nevertheless, the big questions remain: Will CM Punk clinch victory against his noted adversary?
Can Punk make it 1-1 against Drew McIntyre?
After a long wait, fans finally saw The Second City Saint returning to the squared circle. He had first injured himself back in early 2024 after his Royal Rumble match. In the meantime he developed a rivalry against the star who injured him: Drew McIntyre. The two started feuding, even though Punk wasn’t ready to wrestle back then. WWE did a great job of keeping their stories intertwined while keeping McIntyre busy. When the wrestling legend finally returned before SummerSlam 2024, fans believed that their match would end with CM Punk’s victory but that was far from the truth.

Contrastingly, the Scottish Warrior picked up the win at the PLE in Cleveland. However, their feud is not over yet because Punk is still after the bracelet that the former WWE champion stole from him. The Voice of the Voiceless didn’t care about his loss but wished to make a statement on Monday Night Raw. He attacked McIntyre to show that he just can’t walk away if he messes with Punk while meddling in his private affairs and talking ill about his wife and dog. They will wrestle to settle their differences at Bash in Berlin next weekend. This might be the conclusion of their feud.
Make sure to support the former AEW star to the fullest, who knows what he may have for you in store the next time WWE goes to Chicago.
