In the world of pro wrestling, the journey from rookie to renowned star often presents its share of suffering and hardships. On a recent episode of First We Feast, the spotlight turned to The Panama City Playboy, Adam Cole, and MJF. Both these friends had to play a game of Truth or Dab. When asked about his initial days in pro wrestling, Cole revealed the spine-chilling initiation he once took part in.

Adam Cole’s gruesome initiation

For the first question of the game, the host (Sean Evans) asked Cole to respond first. The interviewer asked Cole to shed some light on the most intense wrestling initiation he took part in. Cole’s reply made MJF and Evans raise their eyebrows. He reflected upon how he used to go to a wrestling company in South Philadelphia, which gained fame for its violent methods. “It was known notoriously as being this ultraviolent promotion so I’m talking fire thumbtacks light tubes”.

He continued “My first day at wrestling school I was still a senior in high school by the way I was duct taped to a turnbuckle with my shirt off and about thirty grown men chopped me not only until my chest bled but until it turned purple uh so that was quite the initiation”. However, as in the case of teenagers, his biggest concern was to hide this from his parents. “The next day was Thanksgiving so I had to hide that from my parents to let them know yeah yeah wrestling went great”.
