MJF finally returned to AEW after months of hiatus on ‘Double or Nothing’. Fans were happy to finally see him in the squared circle. Although the top star hasn’t yet started wrestling since the return, he has already begun establishing new storylines for himself without wasting much time around.

The wrestler was spotted on AEW Dynamite since his big return to the promotion at the last PPV. The Silver-Tongued Devil has returned in the flashiest way possible by showing off a new nickname in the promotion.

The Devil showed up to interfere with Adam Cole’s promo. He hijacked his scene to deliver his own promo as the fans at the venue watched in awe. The wrestler called himself “The Wolf of Wrestling“. Tony Khan’s promotion made things official when it took to Twitter to promote his return right before Dynamite 06/05. On the official page on X, AEW uploaded a poster for MJF and wrote, “The Wolf of Wrestling returns Wednesday nights…” This was a confirmation that he would officially use this nickname moving ahead.

During the 06/05 AEW Dynamite episode, MJF took shots at three different champions, threatening them that he is back to earn back his spot in Tony Khan’s company. Rush appeared to confront the newly returned top star and set up a potential feud. After some heated exchanges, the promo ended, showing us that The Wolf has got a lot on his plate to deal with.

This new nickname isn’t the only thing that is giving the former AEW World Champion something to be proud of. In fact, he has even got some new themes if you haven’t already noticed.

MJF and his new entrance themes

During the last PPV on 26th May, MJF sneakily entered the venue. The wrestler was seated in a wheelchair and completely covered to avoid detection by fans, so as to not accidentally ruin their surprise. While Cole was delivering the promo, lights went out only to show a man on screen wearing the MJF ring, and a Burberry scarf. Then out came the top AEW star.
