MJF has always been an outspoken person. The current AEW American Champion recently made a controversial comment, suggesting what happened exactly between him and Britt Baker. This statement was regarding Britt Baker’s suspension and what happened backstage during that time. As you are aware, both superstars had true heat for each other. Britt Baker was the one who initiated the confrontation. Baker stated some negative things about MJF, and the statements reached MJF since his girlfriend was present in the locker room. Following that, a furious argument broke out between the trio.
In an interview with Cultaholic Wrestling, the AEW American Champion poured cold water on claims which insinuated that things got heated during the confrontation. MJF questioned the validity of claims that suggested that he threatened a 110-pound wrestler by squashing her against the wall.

MJF even joked by suggesting the pressure with which he would have pushed Baker would have injured the wall rather than the wrestler herself. Later on, he even admitted that the aforementioned narrative is not entirely genuine. If this narrative were genuine, the AEW star would face harsh consequences for his actions as seen in the case of CM Punk.

MJF stated in the interview with Cultaholic Wrestling, “He says, tell me if this passes the smell test. I barge into a woman’s locker room, I scream in the face of a 110-pound woman, and I physically threaten her by punishing the wall in her vicinity. And I don’t get suspended. Does that pass the smell test to you? Almost everything sorry that was written didn’t happen.”
The former AEW World champion will be hoping to put his demons behind him as he gears up for a new challenge against a formidable foe.
