Ricochet will be leaving WWE soon. Reliable media outlets such as Fightful and PWInsider have reiterated the notion, with the latter stating that the fighter has already communicated to the company his decision not to renew once his contract expires sometime this summer. This news has taken fans by surprise. Especially considering that the wrestler had gained prominence on Monday Night RAW and WWE Speed, where he became the first champion in the format’s history.

However, it seems that Ricochet has already made an irrevocable decision to start a new stage of his professional career, away from what has been his home for the last six years. And now, he already has an opponent waiting for him. Maxwell Jacob Friedmann has earmarked a promo to deliver against the high flyer.

Ricochet has quite a few people in AEW that await his arrival. From Will Ospreay to Swerve Strickland, everyone’s salivating at the prospect of AEW signing Prince Puma. And now, MJF too has joined the list.

The Devil surely liked the promo, as he reshared it with the caption, “Bookmarked.” But why would he bookmark it if Ricochet isn’t coming? So surely this is another confirmation to the point that Prince Puma is headed toward becoming All-Elite. The specialized media outlet Fightful has investigated more on the subject, and after consulting sources within WWE, they pointed out that there is a “high probability” that Ricochet will leave the company, and they expect him to sign with All Elite Wrestling.

They revealed that creative steps have already been taken to rule out Ricochet should he leave. That was the reason behind him losing the WWE Speed Championship to Andrade at the SmackDown. However, WWE sources further revealed that there are already other ideas on the table to remove Ricochet from WWE television programming if necessary. These include a creative plan for Raw that would see Bron Breakker take down Ricochet.
