Rusev is officially All Elite and fan reactions have blown the roof! While a lot of speculations connected him to an AEW debut, no one expected him to show up on tonight’s dynamite.

However, Miro knew how to shock his fanbase in the best way possible. In the past, he had mocked many fans who tried to speculate on his possible AEW move. In fact, he even announced his pro-wrestling retirement.

However, it seems like the temptation to be Kip Sabian’s best man was too hard to resist. With that being said, Miro is now officially a part of the AEW roster.

He joins a host of recently released WWE stars plying their trade in the Tony Khan led promotion. This includes Mr. Brodie Lee and Matt Cardona.

Talking about his first assignment with the company, it seems like he’s destined to be with Kip Sabian for the foreseeable future. “The Beast from Bulgaria” can really help the latter find his feet amongst the mainstream audiences. It’s almost like the role Chris Jericho played with Sammy Guevara.

However, that doesn’t mean he won’t be doing his own thing. He has championship gold written all over him and it won’t be long before he goes after Jon Moxley.

Fans are super excited for Rusev

Despite the shrill of those who say another WWE star will be pushed by AEW, there are fans who are really excited for Rusev. The man has shown that he can connect with the fans on a level that very few can.

However, it’ll be what they do with him that will decide whether or not those extra eyeballs stick around for long. They will get new fans – but it remains to be seen if they are long term fans.
