Miro Finally Speaks Out About WWE’s Uncomfortable Storyline with Lana and Bobby Lashley

Miro, during his time at WWE’s Rusev, was one of the most famous wrestlers in the company. Whether he was a heel or a face, he always got a reaction out of the crowd. However, WWE failed to treat him well, especially during his last few days.

Earlier this year, Miro (then Rusev) was involved in a feud with Bobby Lashley. There was a love triangle between Lashley, Rusev, and Rusev’s reel and real-life wife Lana on Raw. However, in a recent interview with Chris Van Villet, Miro revealed it was just a one time plan.

“….. you know the Bobby thing, it was all about controversy and we achieved that. Unfortunately, now there’s no follow-through but that’s what happens when you change people all the time. You build CJ (Lana) to leave her husband and be the worst.”

Miro also spoke about the humiliation it brought to his wife.

“She’s still probably the baddest heel on their frigging show and now she’s doing all this for what? To throw away everything, the whole year before like nobody remembers that? But again, that’s them and they can do whatever they want but I’m just stating the obvious. But one-time pop.”

Rusev/Miro said he never saw the duo kissing

He also answered if the kiss between Lana and Lashley made him uncomfortable. Lana and Miro have been married since 2016 after meeting in WWE. He revealed that he never watched the kiss.

“That’s a question that you need to ask her and him because I wasn’t kissing him. It’s their choice. Well, it’s not their choice that’s what they were told. To use real aggressive kissing. Was it good to watch? No, I never watched it. But at the same time, I understand it’s work.

“We’re actors. But the question that you just asked is one that people always ask me and every time I respond the same way ‘Ask her. She’s the one kissing him. Ask him. He’s married, he’s got kids, they gotta watch the show’. Ask them, don’t worry about me,” Miro concluded.

Shortly after the storyline, Rusev was fired due to WWE’s budget cuts. Lashley and Lana continued in WWE but their storyline was never mentioned. Lana made an alliance with Natalya whereas Bobby Lashley became the United States Champion after his alliance with The Hurt Business.
