If you weren’t already watching AEW Dynamite on Wednesday nights, Tony Khan and Co. just gave you a big reason to. In one of their biggest acquisitions yet, AEW have officially signed former WWE star Rusev (who’ll now be known as Miro)!
Dubbed as the ‘Beast from Bulgaria’ by good ol’ JR, Miro debuted to a thunderous ovation from the Dailys Place crowd. He simultaneously made a big announcement on his official Twitter account.

For the uninitiated, Miro is a prolific streamer on Twitch. Hoardes of fans log in to his Twitch streams and watch him play games while talking about everything under the sun.
Tonight, Miro announced that there won’t be any Twitch stream. That’s because he was about to become “All Elite”!
Notably, he had made a similar announcement before AEW All Out. Unfortunately, we were left waiting as there was no Bulgarian Brute up till the very end.
Rusev was the best man for Kip Sabian
There was a big announcement at All Out that was swept under the radar amidst all the big happenings. Kip Sabian had announced his intentions to reveal a best man for his wedding with Penelope Ford.

Most people thought it would be a regular member from the AEW roster. No one realized that it would be none other than the hottest unsigned wrestler.
Miro came to the ring with chants of “Miro Day” enveloping the arena. He cut a scathing promo and didn’t hold back from taking shots at WWE.
In fact, he told them to take their imaginary brass ring and shove it up their a**. Soon after, he made his intentions very clear. He wasn’t just Kip Sabian’s best man, he was THE best man.

I don’t know about you, but I find this version of Miro to be a hot sell. His entire attitude sounds like money and AEW might have just got their biggest coup after Jon Moxkey.
Whom would you like to see Miro battle first? Let us know in the comments section.
