WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has opened up on the shocking WWE releases this Wednesday (June 2). The releases sent the entire WWE Universe into a chaotic frenzy.
Foley was initially busy with his A&E biography series; hence, he could not react as promptly as others. However, he soon reacted to two particular Superstars’ releases.
First, Foley spoke about the one-half of Riott Squad aka Ruby Riott.

For her, he firmly believed that “the best is yet to come.” The Hardcore legend then shifted his attention to former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman.
Although he was initially surprised, Foley seemed affirmative that Strowman would end up in AEW in no time.
“The Strowman release is particularly surprising,” Foley wrote.
I know Braun has spoken of never working for another company – but unless he’s set for life at age 37, he might want to explore his options. https://t.co/GJunhSzHTm

“But I’m guessing Braun can write his own ticket for anywhere he’d like to work. A fired up Strowman would seem like a can’t miss signing for AEW.”
Many fans noted that Strowman previously said he would not work for another company.
“I know Braun has spoken of never working for another company – but unless he’s set for life at age 37, he might want to explore his options,” Foley clarified in a later tweet.
Strowman and Foley came face to face multiple times, especially when Foley was the RAW General Manager back in 2016-2017.

It’s like a movie with a blockbuster budget and cast, but if it’s written by creatively bankrupt nincompoops specifically for an audience of one, in a language nobody understands anymore, it’s…..trash. But people watch it because they like movies. 🤷🏼♀️
