Could Mercedes Moné's meeting with Shane McMahon spell trouble for Tony Khan and AEW?

Have an interesting take?

Tony Khan has always been aggressive in recruiting talent especially if they showed promise elsewhere. Stars like Tony Storm, Samoa Joe, and Adam Cole have already found their footing in Khan’s promotion following a successful transition. Now, the million-dollar question is: Can Shane McMahon follow suit?

Even though several other noteworthy talents could bolster the promotion’s ranks, Shane McMahon’s unique identity offers him an edge. Belonging to a family that made WWE the juggernaut it is, the idea of him touching down on AEW seems sacrilegious.

On the top, the AEW head honcho also told Wrestling Observer that he has not had a conversation with Shane McMahon for that matter. However, the reverse is true, implying that the former WWE wrestler has reportedly shown some interest in joining the rival promotion lately. Also, he wrapped up his WWE appearances with an ill-fated WrestleMania 39 spot.
