For the past few weeks, current AEW wrestler Dustin Rhodes aka Goldust for WWE fans was sharing posts of his mother. Unfortunately, recently, he shared the saddening news about his mom, Sandra Runnels’ passing away. It was clearly a piece of heart-wrenching news for Goldust as he was very close to his mother. The entire wrestling world came to mourn her passing away. He shared another post recently, feeling sad about losing his mother.

A few hours later, after Goldust’s mother passed away, he shared a tweet in which he broke down emotionally, after losing his mom. Moreover, he also paid his gratitude to his followers for extending their support.

He wrote, “Words can’t describe how much I appreciate everyone reaching out and praying. Losing Pops was bad enough, but your Momma is f**king terrible. I appreciate y’all.”

Rhodes was posting several photos on his social media platforms, in which he spent time with his mom. He shared the news at the time about his mother being severely sick.

In that post, he had talked about not being ready to lose his mother, but it seems the signals gave him a clue that the illness was getting worse. As per the posts of Rhodes, Sandra Runnels was in severe pain while suffering through the illness. There is no news about what she was suffering from.

The AEW wrestler mentioned losing his father too in his recent tweet. Dusty Rhodes was 69-years-old at the time when he passed away in 2015.

The American Dream suffered from kidney disease in his later years. The reason for his passing away was kidney failure. WWE even gave him a 10-bell salute on 2015 Money in the Bank and the following week’s episode of NXT.
