Over the past week, speculation persisted over the big announcement Tony Khan had in store for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite. A few days ago, reports came to light that suggested that it would have to do with something related to the imminent arrival of Mercedes Mone FKA Sasha Banks to the company. Nevertheless, those rumors gained traction after the recent episode of Dynamite aired.
Boston’s TD Garden announced on Facebook that AEW will be holding an episode of Dynamite and tapings of that week’s Rampage show on March 13, and tickets will go on sale on Saturday, February 10. Tony Khan too shared on Twitter about the expectations from the March 13th episode of Dynamite titled Big Business. However, there also seemed to be a hint in the poster of the event that somewhat confirmed the return of the Boss, Mercedes Mone.

Holding the Big Business Event in Boston seems to have given more hope to the appearance of Mercedes Mone in AEW. The particularity of this is that it is Mercedes Mone’s hometown, so all signs indicate that she could make her first appearance for All Elite Wrestling on that day. Also, eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot a subtle hint dropped by the promotion in their poster for Big Business, as the early initials of Boston were spelled as BO$$, a moniker of the star fka Sasha Banks. Here are some fans who were quick to notice it:

While the former WWE star was born in California, she has always called Boston home since moving to that city at age 16. Since January, both Fightful and Andrew Zarian have reported that Sasha Banks has signed with AEW since January. However, no further details had come to light much to the dismay of the wrestling faithful until tonight. Reports had suggested earlier that she would make her debut in March. The timing lines up perfectly for Tony Khan’s promotion as they add much needed firepower to their women’s roster.
