After presenting the award, Shaq turned his attention to Cody Rhodes. He said if Cody wants a battle, all he has to do is name a time and place.
He said, “Cody Rhodes, punk, you want a battle? You just name the time and the date, I’ll be there. You little Punk with a little blonde hair, you look like a little girl. You want some of the Shaq attack? Name the place. Matter of fact, let’s do it in March.”

Later in the show, ‘The American Nightmare‘ came out with his advisor, Arn Anderson, to answer Shaq. Cody brought up Brandi Rhodes being pregnant, saying if not for that, he and Brandi would’ve demolished Shaq and Jade Cargill. He then asked Arn Anderson to respond to Shaq on his behalf.
Anderson brought up a brief story about Dusty Rhodes making it for Cody’s birth in 1985 after wrestling across the country earlier that day. He then billed the match between Cody Rhodes and Shaq as a once in a lifetime opportunity.

‘The Enforcer’ then brought out Red Velvet, Brandi’s associate, and the one Jade Cargill has attacked at frequent intervals. Red Velvet came down and cut a promo about how she’s going to whoop Jade Cargill, and then Cody challenged Shaq and Cargill to a mixed tag team match at AEW Revolution.

Shaq made the first move today during the AEW Awards, and Cody Rhodes took it a step further. Now, the question is, will Jade and Shaq agree to a mixed tag team match? Honestly, they will. Shaq has never wrestled except for a few physical altercations in the WWE, so a mixed tag match makes sense.
