Cody Rhodes was one of the leading men in AEW before he jumped ship to WWE last year. His contribution to the company helped a lot at the beginning of its run. But he might not even have started it if he wasn’t friends with The Elite. Kenny Omega, Matt and Nick Jackson, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page helped set up All Elite Wrestling before Rhodes left.
The Elite is still kept helping Tony Khan provide competition to WWE. After a lot of storylines and shenanigans, the group is finally complete as a stable. Recently, they posted a photo saying that they are complete and the fans are celebrating them. But at the same time, many fans threw shade at Rhodes while some wanted one more member to be added.

So, you might be wondering why are people happy about The Elite getting back together. Well, the story of the Elite started when Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page won the tag titles and frequently competed with The Young Bucks over them. While the team was strong, they fell out once they lost the titles.

From there, the two broke off and Omega won the AEW World title while also turning heel along with The Young Bucks. Now, Page was the only one who could topple Omega, after the Cleaner had won three world titles from three different promotions. So, after much hard work Page did beat Omega and become the champion while aligning himself with The Dark Order.
After that, when the Trios championships were announced, The Elite won them. But they couldn’t hold them for long as The House of Black defeated them. Now they are feuding with The Combat Blackpool Club which consists of Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli The Elite needed one more person and after the Blackpool Club attacked Omega, Page came out to complete The Elite and beat up the heel faction.
