This sends shockwaves among WWE fans as they can’t afford to see their beloved superstar leave their organization to work against their rival. However, it will change the landscape of the pro wrestling industry if Edge shows up for his final run along with his best friend Christian.
With Edge always voicing out his love for fairytale endings, him retiring alongside Christian, either in a one-on-one match or a tag team bout, would be the perfect way to close the curtain. Speaking of fairytale endings, Edge definitely did manage to get that on SmackDown.

Edge fought Sheamus in a fierce matchup, which would go down as one of the best matches of 2023. Rather than dialing it down, the 49-year-old went all out to entertain his fans.
