What happens inside the wrestling arena doesn’t stay there! During today’s All Elite Wrestling’s Blood and Guts pay-per-view, legendary commentator Jim Ross had a major botch.

Over the years, Good Ol’ JR has been a constant presence at the commentary desk for several wrestling promotions. However, after a long and distinguished commentary career of two decades in Vince McMahon’s WWE, he moved to a rival promotion, AEW.

JR’s commentary skills are impeccable and wrestling fans just love to hear JR delight everyone with his knowledge as he calls the matches. But, unfortunately, fans want him gone after AEW’s Blood and Guts PPV.

Wrestling fans wish for the legendary Jim Ross to retire after calling the AEW star by his WWE name!

Former WWE superstar Cesaro recently signed with Tony Khan’s AEW under his real name (Claudio Castagnoli) and joined William Regal’s Blackpool Combat Club. The AEW star gave his best, as he was the one that gave Blackpool Combat Club the victory over Jericho’s Appreciation Society.

Throughout this match, the AEW announcer Jim Ross named Claudio Castagnoli with his WWE name, Cesaro. Wrestling fans did not miss the opportunity to point this out.

Because of this, fans believe it is time for Good Ol’ JR to hang his commentary boots. But, of course, as AEW and WWE are two rival wrestling promotions with no love lost for each other, fans slammed the legendary commentator on Twitter.

Was Good Ol’ JR the only one to mess up names during AEW’s Blood and Guts PPV?

While some fans believe that the AEW announcer should give up his job and enjoy his retirement time, Claudio Castagnoli’s admirers did not like the fact that Ross could ruin names on live television.

Fans from all different wrestling promotions love the former WWE commentator. However, since JR has been in the business for so long, they may have been of the opinion that he should not make mistakes in his job.

Apparently, JR was not the only one on the AEW commentator table to mess up names. Another former WWE color commentator, Peter Senerchia, aka Tazz, also joined Ross in using an AEW wrestler’s WWE name.
