Recently, Starks cleared up the real reason behind why he is not being shown on AEW TV. The wrestling talent revealed that he is not currently on the injured list. Despite his health, he is still not being booked.

Ricky Starks was asked by WhatCulture Wrestling to talk about the reason he hasn’t wrestled ever since his last tag team match. Wrestling fans wish to know whether it is a contract or injury situation that they should be anticipating from Starks’ end. This is when he confessed that he was not physically hurt. “So I wasn’t hurt and I wasn’t ever put on an injury list or anything like that,” he claimed during the interview. The 34-year-old also said that he didn’t know when he could come back to the ring. Starks added, “People ask me all the time, well, why don’t you? I don’t know. I have no clue that isn’t, um, that isn’t up to me. It does suck, obviously, to not be on TV.”
The Louisiana-based wrestler confessed that he loves the support that fans are putting out for him across the internet. He appreciates the messages that he gets regarding his health and AEW return. However, as of now, Starks is not sure when he will return to the promotion.

On the contrary, there is a prediction that he may be leaving AEW to sign with WWE instead.

The co-hosts discussed how the President of AEW has not booked the wrestling talent appropriately enough. They criticized the storylines that Khan was utilizing Stakrs in and wished that he had gotten a better direction and storyline. This is when they also talked about Starks leaving Tony Khan. Since WWE is the obvious speculation, we may see him joining the Stamford-based company potentially.
