Darby Allin is not related to Sting. Though they have a kind of common look, they are not related. Allin also got face paint, but that is not similar to Sting’s face paint. What is Darby Allin’s real name?
Darby Allin’s real name is Samuel Ratsch. The AEW superstar played football and took part in Track and Field earlier in his life. He even tried to pursue a career in skateboarding before joining wrestling.
Darby Allin signed with AEW in 2019 and wrestled Cody Rhodes in his debut match. The match ended in a time-limit draw.
Darby Allin opens up on his relationship with Sting in AEW
Darby Allin has teamed up with Sting to wrestle on a few occasions. At AEW Revolution in March 2021, ‘The Icon’ and Allin battled Team Taz in a street fight. Allin and Sting were victorious on that day against Team Taz. Again at AEW Double or Nothing, Allin and Sting teamed up to defeat Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page.
During an interview with Metro.co.uk, Darby Allin talked about his relationship with the WCW legend. Darby said, “The first night he debuted, I went in his locker room and we start talking and stuff like that. I was showing him more videos of the stuff that I do, my promos and stuff like that, and he got to see my creative side out of the ring,”

Further, Allin revealed that Sting is the guy he really hangs out with. He also mentioned about Sting’s little private dressing room and how they chill and talk about different things.

He added, “He’s the guy I really hang out with backstage. His dressing room, he’s got his own little private dressing room and he says it’s mine. So, it’s just me and him chilling and talking about a bunch of stuff. He’s cool, we’ve got a lot more common than people think – goes beyond the face paint!”
