CM Punk is a name that pops right in front of our eyes. Although the ‘Best in the World’ has stayed away from the pro wrestling ring for over six years, we still cannot rule out a return/debut.

AEW has signed some top names in the last year. They brought in talent like Brodie Lee, Matt Hardy, and now, even the Big Show. Punk joining AEW isn’t a long shot, and there are logical reasons behind it.
The ‘Second City Saint‘ hasn’t done much since leaving professional wrestling. He tried his hand in the UFC, but it wasn’t his cup of tea. Punk is a megastar even today, and AEW has the money to sign someone as big as him.
Not just that, but CM Punk was recently seen training with Stephen Amell from DC’s Green Arrow for a show. For those unaware, Stephen Amell and Cody Rhodes are extremely close friends. It could very well be possible that Punk is training for a return and filming the series with Amell.
Although Punk has expressed no desire to return to the squared circle, the right money and creative freedom can always bring him on board. Plus, he’s definitely a future Hall of Fame-worthy name that can change the wrestling world with his debut at AEW Revolution.
Anything can happen in professional wrestling
WWE was the only top dog in the pro wrestling world when CM Punk left in 2014. Now, with the birth of AEW and the opening of the Forbidden Door, pro wrestling has gotten way more exciting outside the WWE circle!

Somebody with a caliber like Punk would definitely want to wrestle some top names in wrestling today with all creative strings in hand. He has also expressed his desire to work with several AEW talents, such as Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks to name a few.
After all, if Punk can return as a Guest Analyst for WWE Backstage, then he can very well return to the sacred squared circle to write the perfect end to his pro wrestling career.
AEW is a perfect choice for many to write the last chapters of their careers; ask Sting, the Big Show, or even Chris Jericho for that matter. Do you think CM Punk will be the anonymous Hall of Fame-worthy talent who will debut at AEW Revolution? Let us know in the comments below!
