AEW announced earlier this week that JR would provide his valuable insights to the Collision main events each Saturday. But this new journey began on a negative note for the legendary commentator when he received a fall on Saturday morning. It left him with a horrible black eye. But JR didn’t break his commitment and jetted off to Chicago for the AEW Collision premiere.
Nigel McGuinness and Kevin Kelly called Collision together until JR joined them as planned beforehand. But then another mishap for Ross hit in the form of a bad voice. It instantly became a hot discussion on Twitter, to the point of the veteran himself launching a heartfelt apology to fans for the inconvenience.

Jim Ross wrapped up his WWE career as the best ever to sit at the announcer’s table 10 years ago. Ross then became the voice of Tony Khan’s promotion through his stellar work on numerous shows. His passion powers through the screen in every match. The 71-year-old once again proved his indomitable dedication to the sport by not deciding to step up even in the face of yesterday’s horror fall.
The legendary broadcaster noted on Twitter, ”Bad fall this morning. Still headed to Chicago for Collision! Historic night for
@AEW on @tntdrama.”

Ross might be ready to compromise with his health, but he can’t compromise the quality of his work. That’s why, after having some issues with his voice at AEW Collision, Ross decided to humbly step away. He certainly needed some time to be back in his usual glory.
The former WWE icon took to his Twitter and made an open apology to his fans and peers, saying, ”I apologize for the way I sounded tonight.
Going to step away to heal.
Thanks for your support.
🤠”

Fans showers love on JR upon his recent apology post
Ross has always been a fan favorite. Apart from his spectacular talent, the veteran voice of wrestling is widely admired for his wise and analytical thoughts.
Although JR’s absence in Collision will be a big factor, Fans seem to be least bothered about that. They are more concerned about his health, rather.
Ross had many health struggles throughout his career, which might also be a potential cause for his early WWE departure. In recent times, he had suffered at least four black eyes from falls, which came as a not-so-gentle reminder that he need to get his health right as soon as possible. Every other thing can wait.
Fans want him to heal up at the soonest.
