Moving forward with a storyline in mind is usually the work of the creatives in a pro wrestling promotion. Despite being a personality from WWE, Booker T recently helped out AEW in this quest. While talking on his podcast, the WWE legend talked about CM Punk and his recent real life altercation backstage at AEW All In. He also presented a thought process that Tony Khan shouldn’t shy away from to help AEW.

Following the backstage drama at AEW ‘All In’ last weekend, Booker T believes that the promotion can make good use of it. During his recent podcast episode, the former wrestler shared a valuable tip for the wrestling company to compete better against WWE.

Booker T recently sat down in a recent episode of his ‘The Hall of Fame’ podcast. During the show, he talked about Punk’s recent altercation with Jack Perry, which happened at ‘All In’. Because of how quickly the news caught on fire with the public, the wrestling legend believes AEW should build a storyline feud upon it.

According to him, the only reason to stay away from monetizing a feud is if the judiciary is involved, otherwise, he thinks it’s a good idea to do so, especially remembering the old pro wrestling days.

People are talking about it. And it’s a way we can rally back around to it. And if we’re smart. We make money with this. And that’s the difference between yesteryear’s business and today’s business. Guys would have been smart enough to make some money off of this back in the day,” said WWE Hall of Famer in his podcast.

Despite what Booker T believes should be the ideal way to approach the situation, Tony Khan has yet again suspended the ex-WWE talent. So, instead of making money out of the backstage brawl, AEW is trying to find an alternative to bury this controversy.
