Ahead of the highly anticipated Tuesday Night War between AEW and WWE, Tony Khan took to social media. In an attempt to get more people to watch AEW rather than WWE, Khan commented on one X user’s post.
The fiasco started when Khan took to X to post about the schedule regarding AEW’s Dynamite. One X user commented, “We not watchin bucko.” This got Khan to respond with a comment more in line with him not caring about someone not watching his program. This was the tip of the iceberg.

Fans are excited about a Monday Night War-esque ratings war once again
It’s been over two decades since the ratings war titled Monday Night Wars took place. In the 2000s, WWE was pitted against WCW because both promotions had a slot on Monday airtime. Since WWE bought off WCW, there has not been any competition.
But now, thanks to the popularity of AEW, WWE might see a drop in the ratings on their NXT PLE. AEW will be having their AEW Dynamite episode simultaneously with WWE.
