Another update was given by Tony Khan as he revealed that Andrade El Idolo’s contract with the AEW has ended.

Shedding light on the same, he said, “Andrade El Idolo’s contract is up at the end of the year. We’ve had great talks, I have a ton of respect for Andrade El Idolo.” He further stated, “He has been a huge performer in the continental classic, week after week I talked about this great run, Collision has been on, Andrade El Idolo has been a huge part of it. Also, he has wrestled on the other shows and the blue league of the continental classic. He’s outstanding.”

Well, now we have the answer. Andrade El Idolo is parting ways with the company. It might be hard to digest, but the AEW boss himself has told the media and ultimately the fans about it. If he joins WWE, he will be among those names who will re-join WWE after their AEW stint.

Tony Khan did everything to show the AEW star his real value

Tony Khan further mentioned that he wanted Andrade to stay with the company. However, the deal couldn’t reach the point of agreement eventually. He said, “I wanted to keep him involved at the top and if we had been able to reach an agreement certainly he would be somebody we would slot in in a prominent position. I think we did everything we could to show Andrade El Idolo that we really value him. And this last run he’s had in the recent month has been tremendous.”
