For the past few months, AEW has faced a lot of criticisms over their product, mainly the matches that revolve around Jon Moxley. The former AEW world champion’s matches are conducted with a recurring theme of engaging in wars and bloodshed involved against the opponent. However, a WWE Hall of Famer has taken Mox’s matches and the bad booking decisions of Tony Khan as a reason to stop watching the matches of All Elite Wrestling.

Canadian WWE legend Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart recently had some heavy criticisms for AEW, especially when it came to the matches involving Moxley.
Bret Hart bashes Tony Khan and Jon Moxley
A few days ago, ‘The Hit Man’ gave an interview to HN Live, covered by Ringside News. He gave his thoughts on what he thinks about AEW and not being a fan of the ‘Purveyor of Violence’ always bleeding in his matches.
Hart said, “AEW has kind of gone in a bad direction, I think, with all the violence and gore. I watched some episodes. You know, I watched Marta Hart do her big press conference for AEW here in Calgary. I’m watching AEW, and I’m watching, who used to be Dean Ambrose, sticking a fork in somebody’s head for like five minutes with a close-up on TV.”
‘The Excellence of Execution’ added, “This isn’t wrestling either. I would recommend turning all that off. I don’t watch that stuff anymore. It’s not very good. Wrestling is going in some bad directions because people don’t know what wrestling is or wrestling was.”
The WWE Hall of Famer is not the first person to publicly share his thoughts about AEW’s product. Nevertheless. Mox isn’t going to change his style, irrespective of whoever has an opinion on it. The former WWE Champion has not left his destiny up to fate in regards to his monicker since transitioning, from Dean Ambrose to Jon Moxley.

Surprisingly, Hart is one of the WWE legends to appear in AEW to reveal the company’s world title and has picked an AEW star over top WWE superstars. However, it seems he has lost his interest in Tony Khan’s promotion after regular bleeding being shown in the matches. Wrestling fans quickly took to social media to voice their opinions on the legendary wrestler’s claims.
Fans react to Bret Hart’s opinion
A few fans agree with Bret Hart!
People are already turning off his matches. Who watches stuff like that? Not many people, and the falling ratings prove it.

It’s dramatic and whoa. But for me, the forks, and slashing the heads.Bit much. I don’t mind for me. But I’m sure not going to let my 8 and 6 year olds watch the Texas Deathmatch between Mox and Hangman. I mean you won’t let your kid watch a horror movie. It’s the same thing. pic.twitter.com/ezqCEh70z6

I agree with some of what Bret says, but at the same time he also sounds like a bitter old man complaining because basketball isnt played the way it used to be and he's watching Steph Curry break records.

However, there are fans defending Mox over The Hitman’s comments!
His best match was a “mox match” that created stone cold a man that would get over more than Bret could dream of. His WCW run showed he was good in ring but had the charisma of a duck unless vince was booking him. I lived bret back in the day but he’s old, bitter and irrelevant… https://t.co/GxS1iXtjpC

Let’s just normalize letting people watch what they like. Personally I’m not a fan of the gratuitous blood in Mox’s matches. But there are a lot of people who are. Bret and others need to be ok with that.

Nevertheless, there are a set of wrestling fans who aren’t a fan of the former AEW World Champion bleeding in every match.
