NBA Legend Charles Barkley, had quite a few kind words to say about AEW Jon Moxley on the latest episode of The Steam Room with EJ and Chuck.
During the episode, Barkley addressed Moxley’s return after taking three months off to attend a rehabilitation centre. Barkley referred to a tragic incident from his personal life to explain the hardships Moxley went through to overcome his struggles.
“Jon Moxley, he’s one of the biggest stars. He left three months ago for alcohol treatment. I had a younger brother who passed away so I know a lot about addiction. He just came back this week and I just want him to know, we never met, I just want him to know I’m proud of him and wish him nothing but the best.” H/t The Steam Room

When Moxley had decided to admit himself into rehab, he was vocal about it. Even Tony Khan had taken to social media to explain the exact nature of the situation to his fans and all his well-wishers!
Renee Paquette lashed out at Bully Ray for his comments about Jon Moxley
It is widely known that Moxley took the time off because it was important for him. Everyone who knew the struggles understood why it was important for him to take the step that he did.
However, reportedly, Bully Ray claimed that Moxley should have apologized to the audience for taking the time off since they purchased tickets for shows. Now, this is what ticked off Renee Paquette.

She believes Bully Ray should be the one to apologize to Moxley for passing such a comment considering he did what he did to improve his health. Moreover, Moxley took the decision keeping in mind what was best for Paquette, their daughter, and their family.

Jon Moxley returned on AEW Dynamite: January 19th, 2022. He delivered a speech upon his return addressing his demons and received a massive welcome from the audience. Now that he is back, he will definitely start wrestling again. As of now, it’s unknown what the plan forward for him is in AEW.
