Everyone can unanimously agree that the time during the COVID-19 pandemic was a tough one for everyone. During these trying times, AEW tried to do something that might help fans cope with the introduction of The Waiting Room. While the talk show did garner some attention from fans, it was shut down as the lockdown concluded.

Now, years after the final episode of the show aired, the host of the show, AEW’s former Champion Britt Baker has a message for fans. Addressing the show, Baker shares her thoughts on the experience along with some choice words for AEW President, Tony Khan.

During her latest appearance on the Ring The Belle podcast, Baker talked about her famous AEW segment from the pandemic era. She said, “That was fun. That would be… The thing with the waiting room is, what people don’t realize is how much time it took to set up.” She further went on to appreciate the crew that put their efforts into making the show possible. “Our crew is fantastic and they did this, it felt like overnight, this whole dental office set.” Baker is a practicing dentist as well as a pro wrestler. So to fit the appeal and to add uniqueness, the set was based on a dentist’s office.

When talking about how the talk show could be brought back, Baker said, “There would need to be some sort of logistics of how you could set that up and take it down in the middle of a wrestling ring.” She believes that if the decision is made to bring back the show, the management at the company will figure out a way to assemble the set pieces.

She further added, “I guess I have to convince Tony Khan that I’m worth that much time again.” This particular remark got fans talking as Baker has been vocal in the past about her lack of TV time compared to other male stars in the company such as MJF and Christian Cage. Later on in the interview she detailed why she hasn’t been on TV as much of late.
