There are times when the strongest of human beings need help. Not because they can’t do it themselves, but because a supporting hand can make the path easier. This is the story of how pro-wrestling legend Sting overcame his struggles after having a conversation with his wife.

The AEW pro-wrestler penned down an emotional story about his struggles with sleep and measures he took to overcome that. Unfortunately, in an attempt to overcome it, he ended up falling into a dark place.

Even though he realized where the actual problem was, anytime he tried to crawl out of the darkness, it pulled him back. In fact, numerous times his wife asked about his struggles, but he denied.

Finally, one day when his wife questioned him, The Stinger couldn’t lie any further. He confessed to his struggles and how deep down the rabbit hole he had fallen. His wife fell into a moment of shock while crying her eyes out.

“Words can’t do that moment justice. I had betrayed my wife and my kids, I was completely broken. I went into the closet and I got down on my hands and knees and I literally begged God to help me.” H/t The Players’ Tribune

It was at this moment he knew there was no more turning back. He decided to walk the path of recovery and never look back.

It took him time to overcome the urges and itches, but it’s been 24 years since he’s quit cold-turkey, and he’s doing better than ever!

Sting pulled off a miracle at AEW Revolution 2022

The Stinger has aged, and there is no doubt about that. However, his courage hasn’t declined, and if anything, it’s grown.

At AEW Revolution 2022, The Stinger climbed the arena rails and took a leap on the pro-wrestlers below. It was quite the drop, and not only did he take the leap, but also went through three tables.

Considering his age, numerous fans showed concern and the majority couldn’t believe what they saw!

However, The Stinger didn’t slow down, and he’s going to write his AEW Chapter exactly how he wants to.
