AEW Superstar Eddie Kingston had quite a few things to say about WWE. After AEW got off the air this week, Eddie took the opportunity to address the crowd.
Ahead of that, Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo interrupted the victory celebrations of AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and AEW Tag Team Champions Young Bucks.
The Tag Team champions will face Eddie and Penta on next week’s Dynamite. If the latter team won, they would have a title shot against Matt and Nick Jackson.

As the live crowd cheered for the superstars, the “War King” took the moment to thank the fans off-air. While doing so, he took some subtle jabs at WWE too.
“That’s what I’m talking about,” Kingston applauded the fans. “Because the competition sometimes doesn’t want to hear their fans. Oh, I guess I’m burning another bridge — surprise.” Kingston tried out for WWE in 2016.
“Ladies and gentlemen, AEW cares about their fans. Because we are not here just to get ourselves a paycheck. We’re here every week — with you people, without you people — and we come out here and we bust our a**es. We love professional wrestling!”
Notably, these statements come only a day after WWE fired 11 personnel including superstars Fandango and Tyler Breeze as well as writer Kenice Mobley. The firings were a financial decision.

Eddie Kingston deciphers the difference between AEW and WWE
As many know, AEW has partnerships with Impact, Lucha Libre AAA, and NJPW. Hence, these are not AEW’s direct competition. This only leaves WWE.
After calling out the competition, Eddie spoke about the title match between Jungle Boy and Omega. Although the former lost, he showed great bravado inside the ring.
“You saw a match between Kenny Omega and my dude, Jungle Boy, that you will not see on the other channel, You will not see legends who are respected on the other channel,” he made bold claims.
“You will not see people like me and my best friend (Penta) on the other channel. And you will not see the heart that everybody in that locker room has on the other channel.”
