If one felt the WWE vs AEW was just for two nights, Chris Jericho certainly disagrees with you. On the latest episode of AEW dynamite, Y2J didn’t shy away from taking shots at his former employers.
The 1st of July and the 8th of July were historic nights for the pro wrestling business. AEW Fyter Fest went against NXT: The Great American Bash.
The first night of PPV was a brilliant night as well. Fyter Fest night’s main event saw Kenny Omega and Adam Page defeat Best friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent).

On the other show, Sasha Banks and Io Shirai put on a spectacle. The two ladies stole the show and stole the ratings from AEW as well on night one.
Night two was much awaited night when the shows were announced. At Fyter Fest Orange Cassidy put up an unthinkable performance, but to no avail, as Chris Jericho won the match.
A historic main event awaited NXT: The Great American Bash. Keith Lee defeated Adam Cole ending his 403-day title run.
On the night NXT: Great American Bash Night beat the Fyter Fest Night on overall views. However, Dynamite won in the ratings for the key 18-49 demographic.

Chris Jericho is the new Demo God
On the latest edition of AEW dynamite, Le Champion walked out to the ring and cut a promo. He spoke about Orange Cassidy match one of his greatest.
He then turned his attention to WWE vs AEW. Jericho acknowledges the fact it is great to have a win in the overall ratings.
But, currently, in the business, it is important the key 18-49 demographic is the one that counts the most for various reasons. AEW did win that segment of the ratings.

Credit to Jericho indeed for winning the rating. However, Le Champion will definitely being a part of the Monday Night Wars will this is just a small victory.
AEW surely knows what WWE is capable of. Before the attitude era, WWE was a show which catered to kids. Most of the characters were mild and kids friendly.
However, when WCW came and they needed to upgrade. WWE revamped itself and did so well, forcing WCW to go off the air.

AEW will be much aware of their capabilities if WWE decides to make the u-turn in favor of the attitude era style.

Interestingly, there haven’t been many reactions from Triple H. The Cerebral Assassin seems to enjoy playing his ‘game’ with a profile.
One thing is for sure both shows keep confuse the audience to decide a channel to watch between TNT and USA.
