Wrestling legend and former ‘Le Champion’ Chris Jericho appeared on the Rich Eisen Show for an interview. During the interview, Rick Eisen asked Jericho about any superstars which he had not liked to which Jericho responded by stating Triple H’s name.

Jericho elaborated that in the early 2000s he had issues with Triple H. he and Hunter didn’t like each other but did give great matches. he deemed it as ‘a professional rivalry with maybe a little bit of  personal dislike.’ He continued,

“When you like fast forward five to six years. You get to be you know older and wiser and think back like why did we have so many problems.?Why did we not like each other? And now we are friends and I think there is lot of professional rivalry when you are young and full of vim and vigor as they say. It happens in rock and roll bands all the time. I think that there is always a little bit of that animosity that drives you to become better and if you have like Jericho and Triple H. Our matches were always great because of the animosity that i’m going to show him.I am going to show him.I think that’s good and I would suggest thatt Vince McMahon in the early days would encourage them.”

The friendship between the 2 legends seems to be true. Recently Triple H completed his 25 years in the business. Chris still congratulated him even though he has jump shipped to AEW. this shows the respect which Y2J  has for the game.

Triple H is currently the main man behind the NXT brand. This is completely in contrast to Chris who is one of the top stars in AEW. It seems that the two rivals are continuing their rivalry in the form of these brands. As far as the AEW – NXT ‘Wednesday Night War ‘ is concerned, AEW has won almost all weeks in terms of television ratings. NXT has maintained a respectable leadership and even managed to week a couple of weeks but that is as fas as they could.
