WWE had a stacked tag team division a decade ago, and Jeri-Show were the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions. Originally, Edge and Jericho had won the Tag Team championships, but Edge suffered an injury.
Chris Jericho did not relinquish his tag team titles; he rather chose a new partner in ‘The World’s Largest Athlete,’ The Big Show, forming Jeri-Show. The duo defended their championship against the likes of Cryme Tyme, Legacy, MVP and Mark Henry.
Jeri-Show got into a feud with DX and defended their Unified WWE Tag Team Championships in a TLC Match at WWE TLC 2009. DX walked out victorious after Triple H held a half ladder, allowing Michaels to climb and retrieve the championship.

In the closing moments of the match, Jericho climbed onto Big Show’s shoulders to retrieve the championships, but Michaels hit Show with the Sweet Chin Music. This shook the Big Show, and Jericho lost balance and fell face first onto the table set up at ringside.
It’s certain the original plans must’ve been for Chris Jericho to go through the table, but he couldn’t cover that distance in the air or maybe it was set up too far from his reach, we don’t know. Jericho himself commented on the spot and mentioned that he almost died!

The spot looked painful to watch, but luckily, ‘Le Champion’ did not suffer any injuries. He would not even miss any time out due to the fall and continued the feud until Jeri-Show officially disbanded on the January 4, 2010 episode of Raw.
Chris Jericho is one of the safest wrestlers you can find out there. The man ensures his and his opponent’s safety while wrestling, and that is why he’s doing what he does best even today – three decades after his debut! It’s safe to say Chris Jericho is a true ‘Lionheart.’
