CM Punk recently had a dominating physical match against Powerhouse Hobbs on AEW Grand Slam, on Rampage. During this match, there was someone else present ringside, Hook.

During a Q&A session, Punk was asked why he’s “ducking” Hook, and Punk replied that he’s underage. However, the AEW Universe disagrees. Some believe CM Punk is scared of the youngster and hence, is taking unnecessary shots at him.

The overall mention of Hook started when Punk was naming rivals he wanted to face. During that, he mentioned Hobbs and Starks, and Taz interrupted him and asked him to stop naming Team Taz members.

The interruption infuriated Punk, and he told Taz to line up all the members, and he’ll take them down one after the other. In fact, Punk wanted Taz to line up his son, Hook, as well.

The next time he was on commentary, Hobbs and Hook attacked him. Hobbs put Punk through the table which paved the path for Hobbs vs Punk at Grand Slam.

Nevertheless, the AEW Universe wants to witness a match between the two pro-wrestlers. When Punk flipped off Hook, the audience in the arena started chanting “Hook”. If AEW can make this match happen, it’ll gather a large audience, and will be the perfect match to attract the entire fanbase, across all demographics.
