Miro (fka Rusev) debuted on AEW a few months back. However, since his departure from WWE, he became much more outspoken. He openly criticized his previous employers and multiple wrestlers, with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley being his latest victim.
Miro and Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) crossed paths previously in WWE. Moxley left WWE due to creative differences and debuted in AEW shortly after his WWE departure in 2019.
In his interview with Inside the Ropes, Miro said Moxley is becoming one dimensional as he is only focusing on one thing at a time. Miro also said he would happily take the World Champion out.

“Being multi-talented. This is what we’re missing in our business. [The Butcher’s] a multi-talented guy. Kip is a multi-talented guy. I’m a multi-talented guy… Whereas you see Jon Moxley? He’s a dinosaur, and I’m here to take out all the dinosaurs, man, because you can’t be just good at one thing now.”
The “dinosaur” tag could be because of Moxley’s age, but Miro is actually one year older than Moxley. He could also be referring to how long each of them has been in the business. Miro made his pro wrestling debut four years after Moxley had made his.
Miro thinks people like Jon Moxley have no place in wrestling anymore
There is no place for one-dimensional wrestlers in 2020, says Miro – “Now it’s 2020. You’ve got to be good at a lot of things. If you’re just good at freaking professional wrestling, then I’m going to come and take you out when the time is right.”
Miro’s accusations are not entirely true. Although Moxley agreed that he has been working mostly on his in-ring abilities this past year, he has always been a versatile performer, be it in the ring or on the mic.
Recently, he also branched out into Hollywood with movies such as Cage Fighter: Worlds Collide.

Apart from Moxley, Miro has his sights set on PAC. Pac also wrestled in WWE under the ring name of Neville. He will be making his return to AEW next week, after seven months of absence.
Miro previously stated how he wants to be a World Champion. Do you think Miro’s comments are to set up a future feud after Miro’s alliance with Kip Sabian ends? Let us know in the comments below.
