The police recently arrested Jeff Hardy for DUI in Florida on Monday morning. The AEW star had spent the previous evening performing an acoustic set, as well as attending the SlamDown VII convention in Orlando. They arrested Hardy around 12:30 am the following morning.
According to ESPN reporter Marc Raimondi, Jeff Hardy wasn’t able to complete sobriety exercises properly. He tweeted, “Once he left his car, Hardy was unsteady and smelled of alcohol, per the report. Officers, through conversation, learned Hardy had been drinking. Hardy could not complete any portion of sobriety exercises successfully “or without risk of falling,” the officer wrote in the report.”

Fans react to the arrest of Jeff Hardy
The recent arrest of Jeff Hardy did not impress the fans, and they shared their disappointment on Twitter. Even so, they also shared their support for Hardy to come out of this without any issues and continue wrestling.
At the end of the day Jeff Hardy is only human and nobody should judge him as they don't know what is in his head demons are not always easy to overcome our minds are more complex than some people realise I know that through my own battles with mental health 🤞 for Jeff Hardy

This isn’t a poor Jeff Hardy thing anymore because he sacrificed his body for wrestling. This is simply Jeff needs to take an Uber and not risk killing a family being close to 4x the legal limit.

I love Jeff, but I’m done enabling him to keep doing this. He needs help, but he has to want it himself. I pray for those on the road with him, I pray that this is the wake up call he’s always needed. Addiction is a disease but you can fight it. I have for 5 years. #JeffHardy https://t.co/9Rut52T9qM

Jeff Hardy is a childhood hero to most of us and as fans we are not being harsh on him out of a bad place but because we love him,Jeff Hardy has an addiction problem that he is in total denial of.

Stop using Jeff Hardy to make your wrestling company comparisons. The guy has serious addiction issues and hopefully gets much-needed help. F your opinions if you don't know what addiction is like.
