Over the years, every fan has wondered whether WWE will ever have another Brock Lesnar. However, this problem was solved in the year 2020, when WWE signed Parker Boudreaux as part of the NXT recruiting class.

They popularly dubbed Boudreaux as the Gen-Z Brock Lesnar because he looks similar to ‘The Beast’ and also has a massive physique. He made his debut as Harland in NXT but was released by WWE earlier this year after spending less than a year as an active wrestler.

Recently, Parker Boudreaux, called the modern-day Brock Lesnar, made his debut in AEW Dark. He was all over social media for making his appearance in the company of Tony Khan. It seems Boudreaux has taken the first step towards becoming a monster; similar to what they billed him as in WWE.

This is not the only appearance outside WWE Harland has. Previously, he was also in the books for an appearance at MLW’s Battle Riot IV last month. Furthermore, Harland has returned with a new look.

Harland’s gimmick in WWE was “The Destroyer of Gods”. Also, WWE had changed his look by making him bald in order to look more intimidating. However, this move from WWE didn’t work and Harland failed to get over the fans.

In his NXT career, Boudreaux had six matches in total. Out of the six matches, he won four matches against NXT stars Gru Raaj, Andere Chase, and Draco Anthony on NXT 2.0. Also, he won against Javier Bernal on NXT Level Up.

WWE released him in April 2022 with other notable NXT talents. The reason WWE gave over the release was the yearly budget cuts. He is now on the indie circuit and will be seen in multiple promotions in the future.

Fans react to AEW Dark debut of Parker Boudreaux

Following Boudreaux’s debut in AEW, fans from all over the world reacted to the same.

Did WWE really want to make Parker Boudreaux the next Brock Lesnar in the company?

There was a huge buzz around the wrestling world when WWE posted the pictures of Harland upon signing him. It seemed to be a huge deal as the WWE Universe saw the next Brock Lesnar in Parker Boudreaux.

However, as per the plans, Harland was supposed to be the next member of Edge’s stable The Judgement Day. WWE wanted to call him on the main roster but had never made plans to make Boudreaux the next Brock Lesnar.

It is true WWE had major expectations from Harland to excel as the next breakout star in the company. However, after some reviews from NXT personnel, they stopped his push and released him soon.
