President of All Elite Wrestling, Tony Khan, left no stones unturned while taking a dig at WWE boss Vince McMahon. It is believed that since the 39-year-old Tony Khan started AEW, Vince McMahon’s company has been under threat. However, Mr. McMahon doesn’t care about rival competitors as he looks forward to running his business instead of poking his nose into other’s businesses.
When WWE superstars Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE Raw on May 16, they created a storm in the pro wrestling industry. Well, AEW President had some comments on that incident. Last week, Billionaire Tony Khan was invited to share his experience with The Forbes.

Tony Khan shushed by WWE Veteran and sided with Vince McMahon?
WWE Executive and wrestling veteran Jim Cornette sided with Mr. McMahon when Khan made some snarky comments. On the recent episode of the Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru podcast, he noted Khan needs to stop putting down WWE.
Since Tony Khan accused Mr. McMahon of not planning ahead of time, Cornette had the WWE boss’ back. However, the WWE Executive didn’t hold back in expressing his views on the grumpy comments of the AEW President.
Cornette mentioned, “Tony Khan knew who he was going to put the World title on two years before he did it, and even though it was a horrible idea when it came to pass, he did it anyway. He [Tony Khan] is the one who needs to tear some of these formats and start over, and he won’t do it.”

As per the WWE Executive, WWE works on weekends to keep the show running. In addition, Jim Cornette noted they work all the time, whether be it WWE boss, other writers, or Bruce Prichard. So instead of putting the pin on WWE, Cornette believes that Tony Khan needs to change his formats.
How does AEW function according to Jim Cornette?
The AEW President, while speaking to The Forbes, noted that he’s the one who makes all the final decisions of AEW. Khan mentioned he works to his maximum on weekends to ensure AEW’s weekly shows are planned beforehand.
Thus, WWE Executive shot down Tony Khan for bragging about All Elite Wrestling. According to Cornette, most stars work in Khan’s company because they want to keep their job safely.

“These people [AEW stars] have told Tony that he knows what he’s doing because they want their jobs, want him to be happy and be their friend, and want their checks. Did I mention their money? And he believes them. And now he thinks he’s got it handled,” Jim Cornette added.
WWE Hall of Famer Cornette had some really sound choice of words for AEW President Tony Khan! He believes that the AEW President has an uncalled confidence in his company and that he can handle the business wisely.
