If you have been following pro wrestling news for a while, you might be aware of the fact that Ethan Page is no longer part of All Elite Wrestling. Page has officially left the company in recent days. Nevertheless, rumors began to circulate about his exit after the removal of his profile on the company’s roster.

This was a clear indication that Page had left the company unless it was a technical glitch, something that has happened on occasion before with different companies. Ethan Page has been appearing more frequently in other companies. Nevertheless, we do not know if he wants to join a promotion or has received offers from other major companies. But an exciting development could ensue on that front. A notable wrestling insider suggested that WWE could offer the former AEW star a contract.

During the latest edition of the Fightful Wrestling podcast on YouTube, renowned pro wrestling insiders Sean Ross Sapp, and Denise Salcedo talked about all things wrestling. And it was during this conversation that one subscriber asked them if the WWE would be signing Page. Guess what? They might plan to give him the offer soon. As Sapp said, “Yeah, I think they should make an offer to Ethan Page. I think he would be really, really great in the WWE. He gets it. He’s worked TV. A little bit of everywhere.”

Co-host Denise Salcedo’s statements followed this. She explored the reasons why Ethan Page could not make it in AEW despite his impressive resume. “I feel bad. I think for Ethan Page a lot of it, the things that didn’t work out for him in AEW had a lot to do with the timing of when he came into AEW and how many people followed, that came in right afterward.”

She continued, “It’s like he came in. He had this little moment and that was it. It quickly came and went with the win. After that, you started to see more people come into AEW. And at that point, we were going through this part where you just had a bunch of people trying to claw and trying to get to the top. And so unfortunately it was just bad timing for Ethan Page. Which is unfortunate.”

Ethan Page began his career on the independent circuit, excelling in promotions such as Alpha-1 Wrestling, where he was a frequent contender and champion. However, it was in TNA Wrestling that he really began to make a name for himself internationally. Page debuted in All Elite Wrestling in March 2021 during the Revolution event, participating in the “Face of the Revolution” ladder match for a shot at the TNT Championship. His arrival in AEW was part of the promotion’s continued expansion to include prominent talent and diversify its card. Nevertheless, after amassing the necessary experience, the former AEW star could now venture into greener pastures and enter into the spotlight with WWE if the promotion decides to sign him.
