CM Punk returned a year ago to professional wrestling debuting in AEW with a huge ovation from the crowd. Punk’s return was one of the biggest moments in the history of wrestling as he returned to business after seven long years.
However, after the recent AEW Dynamite episode, Punk showed a different side of him. The AEW Champion went outside the script while cutting a promo mentioning Hangman Adam Page, which is not well received by the fans and the AEW management.

Fans react to rumors of CM Punk leaving AEW after promo on Dynamite
As per reports, a part of CM Punk’s promo was out of the script. After the show ended, there was news of ‘The Best in the World’ hinting leaving the company. However, nothing is confirmed as of now, but is this the same thing Punk is doing that he did in WWE?
Hangman Adam Page wasn’t aware of the former WWE Champion calling him out on the latest Dynamite episode. This put him in a no-win situation while Punk was cutting a promo.
The fans shared their reactions over the news of CM Punk being unhappy backstage with AEW officials. Surprisingly, the wrestling fans are thinking Punk is on his verge of leaving AEW after listening to that promo. Also, it seems his fans are wondering whether they were right supporting CM Punk all those years.
Is it just me or has CM Punk turned into everything he hated in the WWE?

#CMPunk Yall wonder why Cody left, Cody saw the writing on the wall and the show over all hasn't been what it's been since that time period. Bit the segment with Punk was interesting none the less he's getting me to tune in next week. But something feels off with the lockerroom pic.twitter.com/TINVscrTdt

Maybe Punk is the real villain #CMPunk

For a big @BretHart fan, @CMPunk sure is acting like 90s HBK. A bitch who calls everyone a coward but runs to the boss like a stooge. Terry Taylor would be proud. #aew #cmpunk #adampage #iwc pic.twitter.com/cTZOgmZXjc

#CMPunk changed, he got worse. He lost the little athleticism he had. He lost his motivation and drive. His sense of entitlement has grown.
There isn't a single thing about him that is better now than 7-8 years ago when he walked out on #WWE.— Niccolò (@Makavelimademe) August 19, 2022
Is this the real reason Vince McMahon kept his distance from The Best in the World?
The very first red flag was that Vince didn’t want him to come back. Vince has shown countless times that as long as money can be made, he’s willing to work with anyone who’s cursed his name and WWE’s under the sun. And yet he warned Fox that #CMPunk was not worth the risk. https://t.co/GtztkpVLYL

Amidst all the news of Punk being disappointed, this fan claimed it is a part of his heel turn.
CM Punk is about to turn heel in the coming week. Work or not, I fucking love it. 🤟🏼💴💴😂😂 #AEW #AEWDynamite #CMPunk #JonMoxley #BlackpoolCombatClub #HangmanAdamPage pic.twitter.com/JdDR5YhNDX

What if CM Punk called out Hangman as a way to get Hangman more over by being made as big of a deal as him and Mox are by association? His way of doing it may not be the best way to go about it, but perhaps it may end up doing more good for everyone than bad. 🤔 #CMPunk

The Best in the World has his diehard fans supporting him.
Anyone who thinks that #CMPunk cannot possibly be the villain has never seen how badly some #punk and skateboarding heroes have turned out. See all of Hardline Straight Edge, Duane Peters, John Joseph (Punk wore a Cro-Mags shirt on TV), Mikey Taylor etc. #aew #skatetwitter

I hope these CM Punk rumors aren’t true because we’ve all taken his side after all these years and if this is true that will all be for no reason. If true I hope Tony does the right thing and cuts ties if it gets worse. #aew #cmpunk #TonyKhan

After defeating Page at Double or Nothing in May, Punk had to sit on the sidelines for several months nursing a foot injury. Although the feud between Punk and Page ended that night, the two supposedly haven’t seen eye-to-eye since the build-up to their match.
Moreover, as per reports, last night’s promo was a receipt to Adam Page from Punk as the AEW backstage talents. However, there is no clear new regarding the same as of now.
