Professional wrestling contains a lot of fascinating stuff that makes the sport a lucrative chase for any budding athlete. That said, steroid-dependent fitness is not one of them for sure. Thankfully, modern-day wrestlers aren’t as inclined to artificial bodybuilding as the classic ones in the heyday of pro wrestling. But WWE veteran Kevin Nash believes some newbies of the rival promotion, AEW like Will Ospreay still follow the loathsome old-age traditions whereas WWE mostly keeps their roster drugs-free.

AEW has been subject to constant criticism because of its less-than-satisfactory ratings. This shell-shocking claim of Nash just added to the infamy of the founder of the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Pro wrestlers obsess over their body size and often go beyond their ways to look more muscular and larger than life inside the squared circle. However, things have changed a lot in recent years, with wellness policies, drug tests, and many other legitimate practices coming to the forefront. However, the malpractice didn’t come down to zero. Furthermore, a WWE Hall of Famer recently elucidated the issues by invoking a comparison between WWE and AEW fighters.

For those unversed, anabolic steroids are a high chemical derivative of testosterone that athletes use to increase muscle mass and aggression in the body. During the recent episode of Kliq This podcast, Nash left some AEW products in deep trouble with sharp blame. The veteran noted, ”Like Osprey’s not fat by any means, not dialed in. He’s just not chiseled. You know, he’s just, he’s not, AJ. He’s not an LA Knight. I mean, those guys, like most of the guys you know on the WWE roster, look like, you know, you can tell they’re putting the time in and the gym. They’re dieting a lot of those guys got buses and everything else and they’re f**king microwaving meals.”

”It ain’t like the guys on the other side ain’t making the same amount of coin. You know. Some of you guys that aren’t making the same kind of coin, you can still throw four of you in a bus and make it a bunk bus like you would a rock and roll band. You still you can have your meals, you can have somebody else drive you, you get your sleep, and you get your training in. We f**king ate handfuls of pills and s**t.” Nash continued.

Moving ahead, Nash kept Styles and Knight out of the steroid club and defended The Rock over the same charge.

Nash dismissed claims of The Rock’s PED usage

The Rock’s herculean physique has been a top asset for the entire entertainment industry. There’s hardly any fitness freak who didn’t get perplexed looking at the Brahma Bull’s Greek god-like body. The Rock, however, pays no heed to them and often comes up with his detailed fitness regime and diet plans. That said, despite all the arduous efforts, The Rock once received the charge of using PEDs by UFC color commentator Joe Rogan.

Coming to his save, Nash called the claim a ‘ bu**s*it’

‘The Rock’s 50, so if Dwayne’s taking anything, it’s done by a doctor. He’s getting either cypionate or enanthate.” he elucidated.
